Find it strange my flat can seem like it's full of the sound of helicopter propellas?

Shouting in the distance? But why is it this sound can be heard on a recorder?

Whilst this is not a new form of abuse, and it has crossed my mind this maybe a more acute form of many years of nuisance as a form of control such deliberation is enough. Put on music or device to block it out the minute you don't and hope for a bit of silence that thud comes in. Something bizarrely enough someone recently tried to sit next to me on an airplane and say Something, but about this feels like a continued form of abuse?
